The pattern was always the same: a big upfront invoice, a site that looked fine on launch day, and then silence. A year later the hosting had expired, the contact form was broken, and the business owner had no idea who to call.
So we do it differently. We charge monthly, we stay responsible for the thing we built, and we answer the phone. If your website goes down at 9pm, that is our problem to fix — not something you find out about from a customer three weeks later.
We are deliberately small. That means we take on fewer clients than we could, and it means the person who builds your site is the person who replies when you message.
